I enjoyed this book a lot! I've read some of the Keep's other books, and this one was a pleasure to read, too. It's similar to some of the rest of their books, but different in a way, too.To be honest, I usually read more contemporary romance, but I have a soft spot for fairy tales, and so I wanted to check this one out especially. In a lot of ways it reminded me of a sort of Beauty and the Beast retelling, which was fun because that's one of my favorites, haha. It's got a fae twist to it, though! I thought that was neat.
It's a bit darker than your standard fare, so definitely be wary of that. I liked it, and I didn't think it went too far over the edge, but your mileage may vary. It's a good story, but you need to know what you're getting into, you know?
And... if you're willing to take a chance on it, I don't think you'll be disappointed. There's a bit of an um... kind of kidnapping? And some domination and submission. It's dark and twisted, but there's some love and romance in there, too. It's a different kind of story, but it's a good one, too.
Definitely an interesting read! Intense and satisfying and a fun adult variation of a classic fairy tale.

Too dark, violent and disturbing for me. If you're into such, then it's a book for you.
I would buy again from this author.
A different kind of fairytale romance novel filled with suspense and mystery. The characters are intriguing and fascinating, this story about darkness and light will leave you wanting more. A strangely unique and compelling story.
In "Her Master's Madness" is a sexy dark fairy tale that I loved, even though it isn't anything close to what I normally read. Lhea is a fairy that is captured with her friend by a dark elf and is forced to submit to his desires.
I love how well the world is described - a really good job. In fact the story was well-written overall, nicely descriptive without going overboard. I really felt for Lhea's torment and the dark elf was an interesting character.

I'm a big fan of erotic fantasy, and can usually excuse some predictability, or some grammatical errors, or any other small mistakes. While there was some great imagery (she makes the settings come to life in a lovely way), the story was predictable, poorly constructed, and seemed rather unplanned. But it was free, so I guess I really didn't expect a masterpiece. All in all, I don't regret buying it, am glad I read it all the way through, but probably wouldn't read it again.
The book is about a fairy Lhea who got lost in the woods with her friend. They encountered a creature who was cursed and kept them imprisoned. Lhea had to submit to the master for the benefit of her friend. She discovered the creature's secret and had to decide what to do. The story was short and now that I know there is a second part I'm very interested to continue reading because no matter what strange or dark it was I want to know how it ends. I don't love this kind of stories but when I get one I enjoy it.
Some of J.E. Keep and M. Keep stories had caught my total attention because they call my curiosity and in spite that I don't like horror stories I want to read them (Theodora's Descent was awesome).
I like the rich imagination of the authors.

Lhea and Fillia are innocent faeries who enjoy life to the fullest. Happiest out in nature where they can dance to their hearts content. When the pair travel too far in the forest they are trapped by an evil being from both of their worst nightmares. In order to save Fillia's life she has to make a choice that will haunt her for the rest of her life.
The Master wants a new playmate and Lhea fits the bill. He will taint her to fit into the mold that he wants her to play. What he doesn't expect is how is feelings for her grow along the way.
This was a pretty different kind of story. There are a lot of dark aspects (dubious consent, etc) and it ends in a bit of a cliff hanger. I think the biggest thing that makes this story-line work is the changes that both of the main characters experience.
All in all it was an enjoyable, quick read that keeps readers on their toes.
